Father Matthew Johnson has served as a Priest of the Anglican Church of Canada for over thirty years. Matthew has served the Downtown Eastside community for eighteen years, as Street Outreach Priest and Program Director for the Outreach.

Deacon Joyce Locht RCC, has been a Deacon of the Anglican Church, based at St James Church, for 8 years, and a Member of the Street Outreach Team for five years. With a background in Nursing, Deacon Joyce is a clinical counselor and a trauma educator.

Elder Kelvin Bee ODNW, is a Teaching, Counselling, and Ceremonial Elder, having served in the DTES for more than twenty years. A Member of the Kwakwa̱ka̱ʼwakw Nation, Kelvin serves also as Elder and Advisor to the Street Outreach. Kelvin’s traditional knowledge, ceremonial skills, and natural wisdom, inform and benefit the work of this Outreach and this Community.

Mr Luis Beltran has been with the Street Outreach since this year, serving as our Administrator. Luis is member of the Latin American community, has a background in the Financial Services and Non-Profit Sectors, with degrees from University of Lima and current MBA candidate at UCW.
